Workplace Internal Verifier

Aims & Objectives
The aim of this training programme is to impart initial training to enable trainee Workplace Internal Verifiers, now referred to as Learners on this course, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills which underpin the tasks to be performed as a Workplace Internal Verifier. This programme is designed for individuals within an organisation who are designated to be, or are seeking to be a Workplace Internal Verifier.
The objectives of this training are that Learners will be able to:
- Explain the purpose and scope of internal verification and recognise the roles and responsibilities involved in the quality assurance process.
- Recognise how to support assessors.
- Monitor and verify assessment records.
- Ensure record keeping and feedback are robust.
- Assure the competency process.
Course Modules

- Module 1 (Theory)
- Module 2 (Theory & Practical)
Course Knowledge Assessment
In order to verify that the Learners have absorbed the course teachings from the theory elements within the presentation, an open book written test (in an invigilated environment), shall be conducted at the end of the course. This has 23-questions and has a pass mark of 18 out of 23.
