( TRTM )
Course Outline
This program covers the basic underpinning knowledge and initial response actions expected to be undertaken by personnel who are designated as being members of a Tactical Response Team during an emergency. It is designed to identify warning signs, prevent, or minimise negative impacts of an incident and communicate the situation to all relevant parties.
Course Aim
To equip learners with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to perform the roles of Tactical Response Team Member effectively. Keeping Human Factors as a Priority in Command and Control.
Course Objectives
The objective of this training program is to deliver uniform approach for appropriate competent members to demonstrate aptitude, skills and knowledge of each subject after training.
By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of:
- Emergency alarms and procedures onboard and how emergency and incident planning is carried out
- The various levels of emergency and the different phases in emergency response
- The key members of the emergency management team and how incident control centers operate
- Typical safety cases and ER plans
- The various stages of emergency response.
Appraisal Process
The appraisal is consisting of 2 methods:
- Written Assessment (Q&A) – 80%
- Demonstration and Appraisal – Learning outcome 1 until learning outcome 9
Certification
Learners will receive a UK registered NOCN Certificate Level 3 for Tactical Response Team Member. Certificates are awarded from the UK and will be forwarded post course in soft copy to the individuals and /or the employer point of contact.
Pre-requisite
Physically fit due to physically demand training.
