A Wild Geese Group Services Division Quality Assurance Initiative
Introduction
This program is designed to be delivered offshore, onsite to members of both ER & EM teams. The aims & objectives are to:
Validate personnel, equipment & procedures
Confirm any formal training received is appropriate to the needs onsite
Ensure teams are performing their roles in accordance with procedures and industry standards & best practices
Conduct a gap analysis of identifiable issues that need to be addressed related to ER & EM
Support and mentor onsite safety leaders in planning and managing effective drills & exercises
The observation program consists of:
Practical mentoring and coaching sessions with key ER groups and individuals
Walk throughs of their respective areas and visual inspection of equipment and facilities
Table top exercises and discussions with each group
Drill involving the whole crew
Assessment and debriefing of the On Scene Commander while managing the whole crew drill
ER Team debriefing and post mortem sessions
Target Audience
Teams and Individuals within a facilities (Offshore or Onshore) Emergency Response & Management Organisation. Such as:
ECC Team
ERT’s
Helideck Team
Lifeboat Team
Radio Operators
Medical Team
Drill Coordinators
Visit Aims
To provide non-disruptive Training and Mentoring in a familiar environment to improve confidence, efficiency and effectiveness. Also to offer recommendations for improvements based on observations, OPITO Standards and Industry Best Practices.
Duration
Minimum 3 full Training days where fly in and out is required to a Facility.
Location
The program is delivered onsite, on either the Offshore or Onshore Facility. Anywhere in the world.
Formal Post Visit Report
A detailed post visit report is compiled for the Client to formally identify observations and recommendations for improvement immediately following the visit.
