Wild Geese Group Sdn Bhd, established in 2004, a trusted name and seasoned business in Malaysia’s oil & gas sector, has launched its subsidiary, Upstream Petroleum, to serve as a strategic administrative conduit for international oil & gas companies and service providers seeking market entry into Malaysia.
SWEC Codes
In order to be compliant under the PETRONAS licensing framework, companies must possess relevant SWEC (Standardised Work and Equipment Categories) Codes to operate in the upstream and downstream sectors. This is another important value added provision that we can bring to business, inclusive of administrative support to foreign entities that do not yet hold these codes or have a local presence.
Through Upstream Petroleum, Wild Geese Group can act as a local administrative partner, or agent, enabling participation in tenders and contracts under the PETRONAS system, and also provide a compliant operational platform, allowing companies to deliver services under Wild Geese Group’s existing SWEC Codes.
This administrative partnership model allows international companies to focus on technical delivery while Wild Geese Group offer back-office support.
