Where it all Started
Since 2004, Wild Geese Group has been a leading provider of Incident Command Systems across all three ER severity levels, including OPITO Major Emergency Management (MOME) competency training and assessment at ER Level 1 for the oil & gas sector. Much of that work was done as consultants supporting larger offshore safety training companies that wanted MOME capability but couldn’t deliver it themselves. It is a niche skillset, and our core strength is simple: we have done the work ourselves, so we understand the challenges from the inside.

Our philosophy is straightforward — if we need something and it doesn’t exist, we build it, then show clients how they can benefit too. We have split the business in two: one side continues the traditional, established training methods; the other connects training, assessment, competency, capability and compliance through the better digital alignment now available to us.

Training is no longer confined to the classroom or measured only by examination. Offshore and onshore work need to be assessed on the same scales, in the same language, with the same cross-industry recognition of competency, capability and experience.
That is what makes the Incident Response, Management & Recovery (IRMR) “Performance Package” valuable: it is easy to follow, familiar in parts, and affordable to install. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel or compete with existing products — it is designed to complement and integrate with what is already in the market and extend its value. It gives standalone Major Emergency Management a permanent home within the IRMR ecosystem, bringing Competency, Capability and Compliance under one process and letting digital technology handle much of the auditing.
Next Phase
This began during COVID, when we took greater control of what we offer industry and built what didn’t yet exist. We have delivered the IRMR Performance Package for two years; it has met every criterion, including customer satisfaction. We are now ready to take it global through our own fully integrated digital platform, Trident 360 — expanding beyond training products into training support and live operational ER activation support. NOCN was chosen as our partner in this journey and has been central to our success.
